Timing Analysis of the Priority based FRP System

چکیده
Kaiabachev, Taha, Zhu [1] have presented a declarative programming paradigm called Functional Reactive Programming, which is based on behaviors and events. An improved system called PFRP uses fixed priority scheduling for tasks. The system allows for the currently executing lower priority tasks to be rolled back to restoring the original state and allowing a higher priority task to run. These aborted tasks will restart again when no tasks of higher priority are in the queue. Since PFRP has many applications in the real time domain it is critical to understand the time bound in which the tasks which have been aborted are guaranteed to run, and if the task set is schedulable. In this paper we provide an analysis of the unique execution paradigm of the P-FRP system and study the timing bounds using different constraint variables. *

Optimal Priority Assignments in P-FRP
Priority-based Functional Reactive Programming (P-FRP) has been recently introduced as a new functional programming formalism for real-time systems. P-FRP allows static priority assignment and guarantees real-time response by preempting lower priority tasks. Due to the state-less nature of functional programs, preempted tasks in P-FRP are aborted and restarted after the higher priority tasks ha...
متن کاملDetermining Actual Response Time in P-FRP
A purely functional model of computation, called Priority-based Functional Reactive Programming (P-FRP), has been introduced as a new paradigm for building real-time software. Unlike the classical preemptive model of real-time systems, preempted events in P-FRP are aborted and have to restart when higher priority events have completed, making the response time of events dependent on the executi...
متن کاملTransit Signal Priority: Proposing a Novel Algorithm to Decrease Delay and Environmental Impacts in BRT Route Intersections
Intersections are considered as the most critical parts of the bus rapid transit (BRT) system. Transit signal priority is one of the efficient solutions to reduce BRT fleet delays at intersections. The aim of this study is to propose a new algorithm to decrease the BRT fleet delays at actuated intersections, while reducing the negative impacts on different approaches. The adaptive strategy is a...

By the exclusiveuse of biocompatible or bio-absorbable polymers and fibers, novel generation of scaffolds for applicationsin tissue engineering can be prepared. Mulberry Silk as highlighted...
متن کاملAnalysis of Masonry Infill Panels Retrofitted with FRP Sheets in R/C Frames
Masonry infill walls are often used as non-structural elements. According to the past structural failure, ignorance of interaction between infill walls and enclosed frame may lead to the different seismic response for non-ductile building frames. The main contribution of this paper is to analytically investigate the behavior of reinforced concrete with masonry infill panels as participating str...
